The company:

The story of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions in Denmark goes back to 1930 when the visionary locksmith Rudolf Koreska established Ruko.  In 1951, the Swedish company ASSA bought Ruko and in 1994, it merged with the Finnish company ABLOY. On 1 November 2018, Ruko A/S changed its name to ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Denmark A/S.

At ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Denmark A/S, we sell mechanical, electromechanical and electronic access solutions as well as accessories that balance shape and function.

We work with both B2B and B2C.

We are today approx. 100 employees at our office in Herlev.


The position:

We are now looking for a Product Engineering Team Leader for ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Denmark A/S.

You will be part of a Scandinavian team consisting of 19 people in total, of whom 4 people (your team) are located in Denmark.

In this role you will work together with the rest of the Product Engineering team in Scandinavia to ensure the quality on data in our systems, and coordinate the phase in and phase out of products. You will be supporting the Product Management team and other departments with the day-to-day work regarding product related questions.

Together with the rest of the team, you will have focus on development, streamlining and optimizing processes and functions.

In addition to that, in the role as the Team Leader of Denmark, you will be the first point of contact for the Danish team by coaching and following up the team members individually. You will lead and divide work assignments within the team.

To succeed in this role you have:

  • experience in working with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and you have a good understanding of their importance to the business
  • worked in an international organization
  • experience of a leading position
  • worked within a Product Management department
  • and you are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
